In November 2019, Kroton Educational teachers spent a week advancing their Java knowledge. They attended the Oracle Academy Java Fundamentals training at Anhanguera Vila Mariana University.

These professors, who teach a variety of disciplines, were able to hone their Java skills and learn about new Java resources available to them through the Oracle Academy program, including theoretical curriculum and hands-on labs for classroom practice. Both are useful in helping them share knowledge with students and provide them with hands-on practice for practical application and experience.

During the training, Oracle expert Daniel Uehara also conducted a “Frame the Challenge” session to bring clarity to challenges they will find in introducing these learning tools into the student learning experience.

Kroton Educational is an Oracle Academy program member, and these teachers, who are now part of our member community, will be able to share their knowledge with all Kroton participants in Brazil.

We look forward to our ongoing partnership with Kroton Educational as we strive to promote computer science education for teachers and students throughout the country and region.
