Educators in Taiwan/Hong Kong /Macau recently attended a virtual webinar entitled “Knowledge Builder: Data-Centric, Low-Code Application Development on Oracle APEX (Chinese).” This session on Oracle APEX introduced educators and their students to this low-code/no-code solution for building web-based applications for an Oracle database and websheets for managing structured and unstructured data.

In this webinar, Jian Li, Principal Instructor with Oracle Academy, presented a demonstration of the Oracle Academy offering, including:

  • How to register for an Oracle Academy APEX account
  • Using APEX in the Oracle Academy Cloud Program
  • Resources included in the Oracle Academy Member Hub

With Oracle APEX, anyone easily can build web applications with essentially no knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. Oracle APEX is tightly integrated with Oracle Database and manages all of the processing associated with data manipulation in a database. Those with just a basic understanding of SQL can build beautiful, responsive web applications very quickly.

For data analysis, Oracle APEX is excellent, as it supports the full SQL language, which is the industry standard for data manipulation and aggregation. Anyone familiar with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript also can use their talents to create highly customized user interfaces in APEX. Numerous universities and colleges throughout the world teach APEX, and demand for employees with Oracle APEX experience is at an all-time high and continues to grow.

Request your APEX account here (Oracle account sign in required).
