Career Talk by Oracle Academy Thailand connects educators and students to Oracle experts and Oracle Academy Career Center

On July 26, 2023, Oracle Academy Thailand hosted a webcast titled “Career Talk: Explore careers and courses in the Oracle Academy Career Center.” The event aimed to connect students and educators with Oracle experts to enhance their knowledge of Oracle technology, skills development, and career insights.

Approximately 100 participants, including educators, students, professionals, and heads of computer science programs from educational institutions across Thailand, attended the session.

Sutthisak Sittipongvorakul, Head of Technology, Cloud Engineering at Oracle Corporation Thailand, delivered a presentation on “Oracle Technology Trend and Career Insight for 2023.” He showcased real-life examples of how Oracle technologies intersect with our daily lives and emphasized the importance of students equipping themselves with knowledge and skills aligned with technological advancements.

He discussed the relevance of Oracle technologies in areas such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, the Internet of Things, and cybersecurity. Sutthisak underlined Oracle’s global recognition and the widespread use of its technologies across various industries. He highlighted the career advantages for students in learning Oracle technologies, which can bolster their profiles and provide hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools like Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Sutthisak also shared his personal career journey at Oracle, drawing from his 15 years of experience in the database and cloud industry. He emphasized the significance of continuous learning for success and highlighted the Oracle Academy program’s role in helping educators equip students with essential tools, resources, knowledge, and career-ready skills.

Chinnawat Khottassa, a representative from Oracle Academy Thailand, demonstrated how educators and students can access the Oracle Academy Career Center within the Member Hub. He outlined the steps for learners to benefit from free career development courses, featuring job-focused learning paths and industry-relevant content. The Oracle Academy Career Center serves as a bridge between academic coursework and career pathways, offering professional training, resources from Oracle University and the Oracle Learning Library, and insights from Oracle developer teams. The platform supports learners in pursuing Oracle professional certifications and building successful careers.
