Pennsylvania State University's 22 campuses join Oracle Academy to advance student technology education

Denise Hobbs
Regional Director, North America

The Oracle Academy North America team is thrilled to welcome the Penn State University system to Oracle Academy! Penn State recently signed an Institutional membership agreement on behalf of all 22 of the system’s campuses, making Oracle Academy’s library of educational resources available to more than 17,000 faculty members, serving over 100,000 students.

Penn State University is consistently ranked one of the best universities both nationally and worldwide. By joining Oracle Academy, the institution is ensuring that their students have access to the latest tools and innovations in computing technology so that they are well equipped for their future careers.

Over the next several months, the Oracle Academy North America team will work directly with campus leads to educate various academic departments on program benefits and to help them implement the resources best suited for their schools’ goals. Penn State is especially excited to take advantage of the new Oracle Academy Cloud Program and NetSuite’s cloud ERP solution.

As North America Regional Director, Oracle Academy, I am thrilled that Penn State has joined Oracle Academy in a shared mission to advance computing education. Deploying Oracle Academy resources at one of the world’s leading higher education and research institutions highlights the value of our program and helps bring essential computing knowledge and skills to more American university students.

Oracle Academy understands and values educators as partners who are empowered to facilitate innovative student learning in and outside the classroom.
