Oracle Academy Supports Interdisciplinary ICT and E2 Practise Conference 2019 (IIPC2019) in Malaysia

Oracle Academy recently supported the 3rd conference of Interdisciplinary ICT and E2 Practise 2019 (IIPC 2019) in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia, which provided contributions on research and sustainable ICT innovations from various disciplines including engineering, information technology, trade, finance, social science and education. The IIPC 2019 event was presented by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) with Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO) and Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS) and PIT Synergy as co-organizers.

Attendees included over 70 faculty/educators as well as deans and heads of computer science departments from key higher education institutions in Malaysia. Presentations were offered from researchers across a wide range of fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Bioinformatics & Biomedical Engineering, Computer Architecture & Technology, Computer Games, Computer Graphics & Virtual Reality, Computer Networks, and many more.  

Representatives from Oracle were invited to be keynote speakers. Muhammad Shuja, Principal Cloud Solution Engineer, Oracle Malaysia, shared information on Oracle Cloud and Autonomous Database. Dr. Shazarin Binti Ahmad Zainuddin, Chairman of Technology & Communication, Politeknik Ungku Omar, Ipoh Perak, Malaysia, said, “We are pleased to have contribution from Oracle to provide a keynote speaker at this international event, to share Oracle’s expertise and experience on current technology trends and innovations, especially towards an IR4.0 environment in Malaysia.”

The event was closed by YBhg Dr. Mohammad Naim Bin Yaakub, Chairperson, Education Office and Community College, Ministry of Education, Malaysia.
