Oracle Academy recently participated in the first Taiwan Leading Education Expo dedicated to school educators: EDTECH TAIWAN. This new event, which took place in December 2018 in Taipei, was organized by the Taipei Computer Association and Ministry of Science and Technology, and is now Taiwan’s signature education event.
The Expo brought together more than 200 exhibitors and over 3,000 Taiwan educators and school leaders. The Expo will provide an annual platform for educators in Taiwan to discover the latest developments in educational resources and learning technology.
Oracle Academy Country Manager in Taiwan, Francine Yang, delivered a session on the Oracle Academy global philanthropic education program, describing how educators may use its free education resources and curriculum to teach students computing at higher education or secondary education institutions. She provided attendees with an opportunity to explore the Oracle Academy offerings that help institutions and educators advance computing science education for their students. We look forward to continuing to share information on Oracle Academy curriculum with institutions and educators in Taiwan.
