Oracle Academy has over 35 Institutional members in Korea. As part of our ongoing support of the education sector in Korea, the Academy participated in the QS Apple APAC conference in Seoul themed: Future Universities in the Asia Pacific, The Changing Face of Higher Education. The conference gathered a total of 475 academics from 209 institutions.
Representatives of Oracle Academy included Hyokee Min, Business Planning Director, Oracle Korea; Kristin Ang, Oracle Academy Regional Operation Manager; and Michelle Gao, Oracle Academy Country Manager. At the conference, they showcased the Oracle Academy program and shared with educators from various countries across Asia Pacific how universities, colleges, and schools are using the program’s free education resources and curriculum to teach students computing at higher education or secondary education institutions.
In addition to the conference, the Oracle Academy team conducted a workshop for a group of invited faculty from various institutions in Seoul. The workshop was headlined with presentations from Oracle Korea Managing Director Hyoung Lae Kim and Consulting Senior Director Myungjong Sim on the latest Oracle technologies and Oracle Cloud strategy.
