Yet again, Oracle in Italy was a partner in the Security Summit conference, an event organized by Clusit, the Italian Association for IT Security. Now in its 11th year, the summit has took place March 12-14, 2019.
Security is one of the key reasons organizations move to the cloud. Cybersecurity in the cloud, artificial intelligence, and blockchain were the main themes of the event. Oracle actively contributes to this event, with its experts and partners offering participants in-depth study and operational ideas that allows businesses to make the most of cloud adoption as they pivot into their digital transformation journeys. The cloud is open to continuous innovation, enabling companies to take advantage of emerging technologies that will characterize business models in the coming years.
This year, Oracle Academy attended the event to support the Tesi Award, which encourages graduating students to complete projects around the topic of IT Security.
The Tesi Award prize this year was presented to student Andrea Possemato from Dipartimento di Informatica, Università degli Studi di Milano, for his thesis “Clickjacking on Android: The Final Countdown.” The award was presented by Roberta Battagli, (pictured) Oracle program manager for Italy, as part of the March 14th session called “Innovating information security.” Learn more at http://www.datamanager.it/2019/03/tutti-i-rischi-cyber-al-security-summit-milano-2019/ (in Italian).
