To help meet educators’ needs for engaging and robust virtual teaching assets, Oracle Academy offers member institutions and educators free expert computing education curriculum, access to Oracle Cloud and Autonomous Database, Java practice environments through Oracle APEX, technology and software, and other resources—all free and available using only a browser.
On May 20, 2020, Tyra Crockett, Oracle Academy Sr. Marketing Manager for North America; NetSuite Center of Excellence Senior Director, David Gustovich; and Director, Ken Staresinic, delivered a virtual event to more than 160 registered attendees representing the United States and Canada. The seminar focused on NetSuite cloud solution, provided free to qualifying institutions and educators, with a focus on supply chain concepts. Attendees learned how to engage the NetSuite ERP cloud solution as a teaching and learning tool to intrigue students with supply chain concepts in a real and meaningful way. The presenters employed their valuable expertise as supply chain management practitioners to provide a live demonstration of the software as a service (SaaS) solution. They also participated in a Q&A session with faculty to help them as they prepare to provide students with hands-on ERP classroom experience.
Oracle Academy understands and values educators as partners who are empowered to facilitate innovative student learning in and outside the classroom. Therefore, we offer access to the NetSuite cloud solution to postsecondary Institutional members who have experience or expertise in SaaS ERP, customer relationship management (CRM), supply chain management (SCM), or eCommerce products.
As the world’s leading cloud-based business management software, NetSuite SaaS solutions prepare students for the business world by helping them build the key skills today’s employers seek.
