Dedicated Italian educators attend Oracle Academy virtual database training

Jane Richardson
Senior Director, EMEA

Working over the summer, at the end of July a group of dedicated Italian educators attended an intensive Oracle Academy virtual training, Database Design and Programming with SQL, over a five-day period.

Skipping traditional beach time, the educators concentrated on complex business scenarios and corresponding data models. These professors and all Oracle Academy members also are becoming familiar with the newly launched Oracle Academy Member Hub, a state-of-the-art learning management system hosting computing curriculum, classroom tools, and teaching and learning resources.

Within the Member Hub, educators have access to a myriad of resources including self-study materials for Java, Oracle Autonomous Database, a wide range of Oracle and other software, Oracle APEX, as well as eligibility for discounts on all Oracle press books and on select Oracle certifications and Oracle University courses.

For most attendees of this database course, the next step will be applying for the new Oracle Academy Cloud Program included in their free Oracle Academy membership. The program offers always-free access to Oracle Cloud Free Tier, Oracle Autonomous Database, Compute Virtual Machines, plus object storage, data egress, and other key application building blocks for teaching, learning, exploring, building, and developing in the cloud.

These professors are finding plenty to discover over the summer! For more information, please contact Oracle Academy Italy.
