A Day at the Park

By: Oracle Staff

Explore the Wonders of Golden Gate Park

While in San Francisco for Oracle OpenWorld, why not visit Golden Gate Park? With 1,017 acres, the park has plenty of things to see and do. But be warned—one full day will barely be enough to take in all this stunning oasis has to offer.

For starters, explore the free-to-the-public meadows, lakes, world-famous rose gardens, arboretum, historic children’s playground, music concourse, and buffalo paddock. Then enjoy the places you’ve heard about such as the Japanese Tea Garden, the Conservatory of Flowers, the de Young Museum, and the California Academy of Sciences. End your tour at the restored Dutch Windmill and take in that gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. But don’t forget to bring a jacket!
