The WebLogic team has been actively working with the Java SE team through the development cycle of Java SE and is looking to have a certification in its next patchset - timing TBD but historically in the WLS 11g line we have been releasing patchsets fairly regularly.

Excellent post.

I kind of like the idea of aggregating posts like this for weblogic.

Thank you.

If the WebLogic team is looking to have a Java 7 certification in its next patchset, will the next patchset also include newer OS certifications, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6?

@James

There may be updates to FMW platform support in the next patchset, but there are no announcements at this time. The supported configurations link on OTN will always contain the most up-to-date information and is the source of truth. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/fusion-middleware/documentation/index.html
