Last Day for Oracle Open World Early Bird Discount!

Just one more week to submit a session abstract for Oracle Open World 2013!

Attend Oracle's biggest event of the year, Oracle Open World, September 22-26 in San Francisco, CA.   Submit an abstract by April 12th!  

Are you using UPK Pre-built content in your organization to help educate project teams or as material for fit/gap and conference room pilots?  Maybe you are implementing change management initiatives using UPK?  Are you deploying content to your project team and end users using the Knowledge Center?  Were you able to reduce the amount of Help Desk calls when you rolled out the Do It mode?  Do you have some great lesson's learned when using UPK throughout your software lifecycle?  Perhaps you've recieved a lot of value by creating test scripts with UPK and integrating into your OATs testing tool?

It's that time of year again... Oracle Open World Call for Presentations is Open!

Time flies and it seems like Oracle Open World 2012 just ended but planning for this tremendous event goes on year round.   Oracle Open World 2013 will be held September 22-26 in San Francisco, CA.   If you’d like to attend minus the cost of registration and have a great UPK story to tell, submit an abstract before April 12th!  Go to the Open World Call for Papers website for more details and registration information.  (http://www.oracle.com/openworld/call-for-papers/information/index.html)

UPK 11.1 Content Development Training Offering from Oracle University

Oracle University has announced the availability of UPK 11.1 Content Development training courses.  These classroom and virtual classroom courses are available starting later this month.  This course is designed for course authors, editors, and other individuals in need of recording and editing content in the User Productivity Kit Developer. Through hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to build an outline, prepare for and record content in the target application, and use the Topic Editor to customize recorded content. Students will learn how to link web pages and external files to their content as well as create and link questions and assessments.

Upon completion, participants will preview their content in the available playback modes before publishing. They will also explore the various deployment options for publishing, including the options for printed documents, and learn how to customize templates for player and print output.

The OpenWorld 2012 Call for Papers is closing on April 9th! 

Don't forget to submit your paper to share your Oracle UPK story at OpenWorld San Francisco! Customers or partners who would like an opportunity to speak at OpenWorld should submit an abstract. If your session is selected, Oracle will waive the conference registration fee – saving you anywhere from $1,795 to $2,595. For details about the conference, visit the Oracle OpenWorld website.
