See It! Mode Windowed Player

UPK 3.6.incorporated a new "windowed player" for See It! mode. This new player was created for an integration with the Fusion Help Portal and provides more of a standard media player approach to content playback. For See It! Mode only in this release, content users can use the new navigation buttons to navigate between frames, pause / play or restart the topic. In addition to the navigation features the window size can be adjusted by the user to see more or less of the screen shot.

Playing a topic in the windowed player is only possible by launching the topic directly as opposed to launching the topic from the mode buttons in the table of contents. Deriving the link is pretty easy by accessing the kp.html file once hosted on a web server and then copying the appropriate topic link for the windowed player. For detailed instructions refer to the topic Launch Content from Other Applications in the Content Deployment reference guide included with your UPK installation.

Comments:

Cool, this tip reinforced existing functionality came just in time to help address a usability issue and also the link of the UPK help was great. Thanks
