Welcome to this new blog!
By Sam Drake on Dec 05, 2011
Hi, my name is Sam Drake; I am an Architect here at Oracle. I have worked for the past fifteen years on the Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database. In this blog I’ll tell you a little bit about TimesTen … what it is, how it works, and how you can use it.
I hope to post a variety of short articles here … some aimed at new users of TimesTen, others for long term users, and some for folks who are just curious about what it is. This blog won’t replace TimesTen’s formal product documentation, or of the existing Oracle Technology Network discussion forum about TimesTen.
If you would like to keep up on what’s going on with TimesTen, check back here regularly! By using our RSS feed you can “subscribe” to it, so you’re automatically notified when new articles are posted. Sites like Google Reader make this easy.
The best thing about the blog is that it's a two-way channel ... if you have comments or questions about any article, or suggestions for some topics you’d like to learn more about, please let me know in the article comment section. You might also consider checking out the Discussion Forum about TimesTen on the Oracle Technology Network.
These links and other useful links to TimesTen resources are always available in the Bookmarks section of this page.
Just for the record, while I am writing here about Oracle products, I am not an official Oracle spokesperson … and I am not speaking for Oracle. J
More coming soon! ...Sam
