More Examples of Windows Multimedia Redirection

In my last entry, "CL" posted a comment wanting more to see more examples of Windows media redirection.  Here's another video showing a variety of clips.  Talking heads, animation,  a couple of VC-1 live streams.  Enjoy.  Still have the dog barking at the tripod problem, so I apologize for some of the shaky parts.  Take a Dramamine if you get queasy.  If you want to watch this in a bit better quality, follow this link and click on the "watch in high quality" link once you get into YouTube (right under the "Views" number).

Why Non-developers hate Java

Especially sys-admins of terminal servers.  OK, the "H" word might be a little strong, but there can't be a lot of the "L" word floating around either.  Of course It's not the fault of Java, it's a sloppy job of whomever did the installer.    Don't you think the below is a bit of a problem?  Over 1/2 a GB in different JREs?  Come on.

To a Sun Ray Near You:

Update due to multiple emails (just leave comments next time) :

It's not Xen, it's not VMWare, it's not Citrix, it's not Terminal Server.  And yes, that is Solaris the VM is running on.
