Home again, home again

Jiggety Jig.

Trip home was a pain.  Inbound flight was delayed which caused our boarding to be delayed at least an hour.  The power kept going out at the airport,  seems to take about 45 seconds for the generators to kick in @ MEX.  We finally boarded but we had a bag on board that was missing it's owner, that took 45 minutes to sort out.  Finally the wind kept shifting and we kept taxing to different ends of the run way, an hour lost there.  Final result was a missed connection and a 4 hour stay at the LAX Hilton compliments of UAL.  I have to give United credit though, they could have blamed the delay on weather or other circumstances outside of their control and left me to rough it @ CAMP LAX.

Remind me to avoid going through customs @ LAX.  Assinine doesn't begin to describe the process of deplaning at a domestic terminal, taking a bus to the international terminal to go through customs only to have to board another bus to get to your terminal.  I should have taken the non-stop with Mexicana.  Live and learn.  Home around 9 AM this morning.

Apart from that, it was an excellent trip!  Details to follow when we win the deal.
