Going to Rome, Italy
By dananourie on Sep 12, 2007
On September 22, I am going to Rome, Italy to cover the Tech Days event that Sun is having there. You won't find me complaining about this business trip, in any shape or form.
I am, of course, very excited about seeing Rome, but I'm also excited about this Tech Days event. I have been wanting to share the Tech Days experience with our audience for some time now, so it's a pleasure to finally do so.
For the past two months, I have been working with a great team to redo the Tech Days website, so it provides folks with more information and understanding what Tech Days is, what goes on there, and what the benefits of attending these events are. We've made great strides on the site, including:
- Adding a Labs tab so that information is easy to get to
- Providing an alias so people can get help if they need it for installing the files on their computers that they'll need for the hands-on labs
- Adding a Community tab so you can read about other events and read blogs about Tech Days
And we have more to come so keep an eye on the website:
Soon, I will post some of the technologies and topics that are going to be covered at the Tech Days in Rome, and when I get there, I will blog about the event so those of you who can't make it there can get a good idea of what these events are like, and hopefully attend one in the future.
But I also hope that the Rome attendees will read these blogs and share their views as well.
See the Sun Tech Days website to learn more about these events.
