OpenSSO

I have always been a true believer in Open Standards and Open Source. And I am proud to be a part of a Company which walks-the-talk in the Open Source world. Yes, we open sourced Solaris and now, as of Aug 17th 2006, we have OpenSSO. A great achievement for an outstanding team of Engineers and Architects who have made this happen. Hats of to you guys!! I had the opportunity to speak about the OpenSSO initiative at the internal Software Technical Round Table and it was great to have one of our premium Implementation partners talk about the benefits of OpenSSO and demonstrate the ease of use of the code base. The Licensing terms and the details on the Contributor agreements is well detailed on the OpenSSO site. My most recent experience with OpenSSO has been with one of my Access Manager customers downloading the OpenSSO code to try and understand the Policy Management features. Way to go !!! So folks, go for it ..... and yeah, NetBeans IDE provides the perfect enviroment to work with OpenSSO code.
