Hi, I tried downloading the SOA BPM appliance. While unzipping the first file oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.001, it says the file is corrupted! please advice.

Did you check the MD5sum to make sure the download was successful?

Posted by Simone on June 02, 2012 at 07:46 PM PDT #

oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.001 to oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.007 are the parts of the software. Once you download all the 7 files, download the file joiner, open the joiner and select the oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.001 and click join. It will join all the 7 files and result you or rar file. Once you get here, extract the zip/rar file and you can see oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.ova file.

Please make sure virtualization is enabled. The error indicates it's disabled

Hi Prasad,

Even the file joiner didn't help. We got it working by joining as below:

copy /B oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.001+oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.002+oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.003+oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.004+oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.005+oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.006+oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z.007 oel5u5-64bit-soabpm-11gr1-ps5-2-0-M.7z

So, the vbox is working fine now.

The SOA suite component within the VM does not load. We checked the Weblogic servers and coudn't see the soa_server. Please check.

Can you plesae elaborate what exactly you have done and what problem you're seeing?
Which domain did you set up? Both SOA domains are configured in a "developer's" configuration, which means that only the admin server is configured and also includes the SOA components.

I am not able to download the above file even after multiple tries. All other files for the Pre-Built VM are downloaded successfully but only this one failing even after so many tries in two days. Could you please check if something is wrong at the download center.

Hi Experts,

Can I run Pre-Built SOA BPM Virtual Machine in Mac book?

In Windows , we need to enable hardware virtualization in BIOS.

In Mac, Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) is there but would that support the final .ova file.
