Canon Delivers Fast Data with Oracle Event Processing
By Mala Ramakrishnan on Sep 18, 2013
Canon has made Fast Data a reality with processing a large variety, high volume and velocity of events from multiple devices across geographic boundaries. Canon is surging forth on their strategy for an Internet of Things, thanks to an approach that has focused on extreme availability, reliability, and scalability from their IT infrastructure in order to handle remote maintenance services for Multi Function Printers (MFP).
In this session at Oracle Open World 2013, Canon discusses the benefits of running Oracle SOA on Oracle Exalogic and Oracle Exadata engineered systems. The session highlights the extreme scale and performance the platform delivers for transactional SOA and Fast Data. It also illustrates best practices that work in real-life.
