Simon Phipps: OpenOffice.org License to Go to LGPLv3

Simon Phipps, chief open-source officer at Sun Microsystems, reports that "OpenOffice.org's license will change to LGPLv3 as part of a broader set of changes intended to improve the OpenOffice.org community for everyone." OpenOffice.org software is the most widely distributed open-source multiplatform and multilingual productivity suite: word processor, presentation program, spreadsheet, database, and vector drawing tools.
