Call for Papers: Kernel Conference Australia (July 15-17, University of Queensland)

The organizing committee of the Kernel Conference Australia seeks original presentations focused on open-source kernels and technologies within those kernels for the July 2009 conference, to take place at the University of Queensland, Brisbane.
Papers may present theory, techniques, applications and practical experiences on topics including cross-architecture kernel development, porting an OS to a new architecture, filesystems, system performance visualisation (DTrace, SystemTap), image visualisation (GPU kernels), fault management, distributed kernel development, virtualisation, clustering (HPC and high availability, distributed systems, kernel testing...
In short, the committee will consider any kernel-focused topic for an open-source licensed operating system.
Submit an extended abstract (up to 3 pages) of your proposal in either PDF or plain text by May 1, 2009.
