Legislative Update for PeopleSoft HCM Global Payroll Spain

In the last few years, the Social Security Organization in Spain (TGSS) has been working on a new system for direct payment of Social Security contributions (Cret@ Project), which will allow Social Security to play an active role in the collection process,  as well as providing more information about contributions to companies and workers.

This new system involves changes to the current procedure for exchanging information and the processing, structure and format of the files which RED System users use to interact with the TGSS.

Given the complexity of the project and the important changes it involves, a Pilot is being carried out prior to its go live, with a small and closed number of participants. Oracle has delivered the code changes to handle the new Cret@ requirements to allow any customers to participate in the Pilot project.
The Position Statement has been revised to include more details about this legislative update, the patch availability and pre-requisites.
We advise customers to review the position statement to keep up-to-date. The Position Statement can be found on My Oracle Support, Document ID 1520058.1.
