Introduction of Shared Parental, Child Care and Adoption Leave Payments

In January 2013, Ministry of Manpower has amended legislations to support work life harmony and encourage shared parental responsibility. They introduced new Leave Payments which are effective 1st of May 2013.

Key highlights of the amendments are;  Introduction of Shared parental leave, Adoption and Extended Child Care Leave along with increase in Paternity Leave days from 3 to 1 week.
