Legislative Update for PeopleSoft HCM Brazil - eSocial News

The mapping for eSocial Initial and Non-Periodical Events based on version 1.2 beta 2, from Feb, 24th 2014, is available on My Oracle Support, under Document ID 1526487.1.

Furthermore, due to non-availability of the complete package of information required for adaptation of companies to eSocial, published news that present concerns to the estimated eSocial schedule, insecurity in the preparation of business schedule and following claims made by various entities requesting extension of current terms, the eSocial Executive Committee has modified the projection for the implementation of eSocial using a new methodology. PeopleSoft Payroll for North America/Benefits has been adding functionality along the way to support the requirement for HealthCare reform. One big piece of legislation that has been evolving is Employer Shared Responsibility. On February 12, 2014 the IRS announced the final regulations. SuperStream data readiness and solution overview

Oracle PeopleSoft has published a Whitepaper on data readiness and solution overview for SuperStream Report. This whitepaper outlines the high level design for the targeted solution to meet SuperStream reporting obligations. The document can be found on My Oracle Support, Document ID 1668138.1.

Customers may need to consult their super funds and clearing houses as well, while there are multiple options available in meeting this reporting requirement. This includes their current solution to the Alternate File Format, creating their own file or using XBRL.
