Accelerated Product Compliance in Agile PLM 9.3

With 9.3, customers have the ability to configure whether the application should do a "full" compliance rollup or a "quick" compliance rollup. That is, whether the application should calculate compliance for all the shippable items in the system or only for the "impacted" shippable items. Impacted items are the ones that have undergone changes that could cause a change in compliance (for e.g., the BOM or AML gets changed, compliance of a component in the assembly gets changed etc).

So, what mode to use in order to achieve better performance in compliance rollup?Basically, it depends on how many items would be impacted with compliance related changes in a period of time. So, customers who have scheduled their compliance rollup on a recurring basis and expect to have a fewer number of compliance changes in that period would benefit by using the "quick" rollup. For customers who expect large number of compliance related changes within a period would benefit by continuing to use the "full" rollup.
