New functionality for Oracle iLearning
By Anders Northeved on Oct 20, 2010
A new patch for iLearning has just been released.
The patch number is 9380246 and it can be downloaded from My Oracle Support. Apart from some bug fixes this new patch also includes a number of useful enhancements.
You can now change the Player Performance or the Enrollment Status for many offerings for a learner in one screen.
This means that it is much easier for an administrator to for instance mark a learner as completed when she has completed a number of courses in a short period of time.
The administrator can now decide which subtab a learner should start on when he enters the Learner Home Page.
This means for instance that if an organization works only with online courses they can have all their learners starting up on the "Self Paced" page instead of the Overview page.
On the Integrated Learning Details page the Player Status column now show information on upcoming renewal of certifications.
This way a learner is always aware of when he has to renew his certifications.
A learner will now be returned to the place he left off when returning from the Player.
So if a learner starts a course from the "Self Paced" page he will be returned to that page once the course has finished.
These enhancements have all been added to iLearning as a result of customer requests - so we are sure this will benefit a lot of you iLearning users out there!
