Session Initiation Protocol APIs

If you are interested in Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) in the Open Solaris environment, I highly recommend reading and commenting on the SIP API design document posted on Open Solaris. The document is strucured in parallel with the SIP stack layer and gives several very good examples of the use of the APIs.

Comments:

Hi i have seen theat u r SIP API design i was very much impressed with that it is very useful for eginners in this area, but at the same if u provide the API's source form / design of each allAPI's then we are in a position to understand all about the SIP Design, i read the oSIP design it is very difficult to understand because of the most generic way so you please provide us the API's source form so that we can understand the total flow and design.

IETF RFC's are a good source. The book 3GPP Multi Media Subsystem provides a good review of an application of SIP.

For Reddy Narendra -- The best thing you can do is join the Open Solaris discussion on SIP, and post this same question there.
