JDeveloper 11g low memory warning

Running low on JDeveloper's memory, e.g. when creating a BPM task flow?

Adjust the memory settings in .../jdeveloper/ide/bin/ide.conf e.g. to:

AddVMOption -Xmx1024M
AddVMOption -Xms768M

And the Perm-Size in .../jdeveloper/jdev/bin/jdev.conf e.g. to:

AddVMOption -XX:MaxPermSize=512M

Always useful, thanks!

Really? Are the values still to low for what you're trying to do or is there another problem?

I think its not abt low memory but jrockit..

[warn][jrockit] maxpermsize=512m ignored: not a valid option for jrockit

This is what i get every time i start my jdev... i have tried almost everything but no solution.. helpfull if you can help.

JRockit has a different Garbage Collection from HotSpot. There's no need to set MaxPermSize, just leave this parameter out. But: This is just a warning, it should work anyway. The same goes for Java 1.8, which took over JRockits GC.
