D70 and 105mm f/2.8Macro

This week-end my dad lent me his Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D Macro to try it with my Nikon D70.
Since I've bougth the D70, I've been looking for a mid-range lens to complement my 18-70mm and 70-200mm zooms. I need a lens with pretty wide aperture, sharp. So I spent the whole week-end shooting everything, from flowers to insects, to my kids... And I'm really happy with the results. The lens is really sharp (may be a little bit to much for portraits), reasonably fast and very clear. It ranks number 1 on my favorite list of buys. Here's a small (reduced) sample of the results.
