shell history meme: Windows, Cygwin

I saw 2 Sunnies already did this. One of which is Bistro!: Long time no meme. My twist is that I took this on my Windows. Yes, I'm one of those many Sunnies who have 'bash' and 'emacs' always open on Windows. I think this list shows a nice mix.
$ history|awk '{a[$2]++} END{for(i in a){printf "%5d\\t%s \\n",a[i],i}}'|sort -rn|head
99 ls
56 cvs
51 grep
30 less
24 unzip
21 cygstart
17 cd
15 tlist
12 taskkill
11 handle
  • cygstart:        Cygwin command which reads registry and lauches appropriate app for the file with certain extensions.
  • tlist:             from Windows Resource Kit
  • taskkill:         Windows command
  • handle:          Windows equivalent of lsof, pfiles. From sysinternals.com. Now a part of Microsoft.
  • ls,cvs, grep, less, unzip:  GNU utils compiled under Cygwin
Comments:

Cygwin we are using for openjdk build, but have seen lot of Issues with it. I hope it will be more robust soon. But very good for person like me who want to run unix commands on cmd :)
