http://edelivery.oracle.com/ command line download

This is a correction to my past entry.

Oracle VM Template: Solaris 10 10/09 vs. Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.5
Solaris can be directly downloaded on to
OracleVM server itself using wget or curl. OEL requires browser with
Javascript support.

, which was wrong. Actually, anything on edelivery.oracle.com can be downloaded with wget directly onto Dom0.

OTN Discussion Forums : wget command ...
wget --load-cookies cookies.txt http://edelivery.oracle.com/EPD/Download/process_download/V14040-01.zip?file_id=25144846\\&aru=10526709\\&userid=1849863\\&egroup_aru_number=10545705\\&email=fhoogland@vxomany.com\\&country_id=528\\&patch_file=V14040-01.zip

The blog below gives some hints how to create cookie file.

Only Four Left… » Downloading OTN software using wget
Lynx very conveniently exports its cookies to a text file, in the format expected by wget (the classic "Netscape cookies.txt" spec). Firefox and Chrome, on the other hand, save cookies in a SQLite database file.
