filebench result on my Lenovo T60, Solaris 10 for x86 8/07

I'm going to install SXDE on it. So, I ran filebench benchmark before wiping out. My plan is to compare these figures with:

  1. 7200 rpm 2.5 inch HDD
  2. SXDE w/ Serial ATA driver
  3. SXDE w/o Serial ATA driver
  4. Linux
  5. Solaris on vmware guest.

Here's how I ran filebench benchmark.

# cp /opt/filebench/config/filemacro.prof mybench.prof
# vi mybench.prof
# diff /opt/filebench/config/filemacro.prof mybench.prof
29,32c29,32
< dir = /tmp;
< stats = /tmp;
< filesystem = tmpfs;
< description = "filemacro tmpfs";
---
> dir = /export/home/tmp;
> stats = /export/home/mybench/stats;
> filesystem = ufs;
> description = "filemacro ufs";
# export LANG=C
# /opt/filebench/bin/filebench mybench
# firefox stats/myhost-ufs-mybench-Feb_10_2008-16h_34m_35s/index.html

Here's the top lines of 'filemacro' result:

This is full 'filemacro' result. This is 'filemicro' result.
