This year the In-Memory team has 4 technical sessions and there are a number of excellent customers sessions too;

  • Monday, September 29rd at 1:30pm Oracle Database In-Memory: The Next Big Thing
    Session CON7247
    at Moscone South - room 103
    Juan Loaiza explains in detail what motivated Oracle to develop this new technology and provides a clear understanding of how this unique “dual format” architecture works.

  • Tuesday, September 30th at 12:00pm Top Five Things to Know About Oracle Database In-Memory
    Session CON7248 at Moscone South - room 104
    During this session myself and several of the customers who have tested Oracle Database In-Memory will share our top tips for getting started with Oracle Database In-Memory and the best use cases.

  • Tuesday, September 30th at 3:45pm Oracle In-Memory: The Game Changer in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
    Session CON5193
    at Moscone South - room 102
    In this presentation, Holger Friedrich assesses the application of the In-Memory columnar store to the areas of data warehousing and business intelligence.

    Session CON4731
    at Moscone South - room 104
    To help physicists at CERN analyze their data more efficiently, a study was done of the use of Oracle Database In-Memory technology to store and analyze data recorded by the experiments at the Large Hadron Collider.

If you have burning questions related to the new Oracle Database In-Memory, you can ask them at the In-Memory demo booth in the Database area of the demogrounds in Moscone South. You will find our booth on the left hand side, booth number SLD-134. Members of the In-Memory development team will be there Monday to Wednesday from 9:45am until 5:30pm.
