Certified and Supported Migration Paths for JDeveloper

I was asked if one could migrate from JDeveloper 9.0.4.3 to JDeveloper 10.1.3.2.0
Answer is "No" - it's not supported.

For more information about the Supported Migration Paths, see the following document published on OTN:
Certified and Supported Migration Paths for JDeveloper

In case you need to use an intermediate version for your migration, you can download old versions of JDeveloper from [Here]

Comments:

This is actually a question I want to ask. In release 10g, there is a feature called Java Service Interface and Service Interface Tester. However, I am not able to find out this in 10.30.1 release. I have hit deadend every place I have searched. If you could please guide me to any resource that talks about it in details (and hopefully Step-By-Step) manner, it would of great help. If possible please drop a mail at neerajks@gmail.com. Btw, you can look at a presentation given by Sara Woodhull,Principal Product Analyst, Oracle Corporation in OpenWorld for reference. Thanks in Advance for help. Neeraj

Do you think that at any point in the future an upgrade path will exist?

Hi Craig,

Could you please clarify your question.
What do you mean by "upgrade path" (compared to "migration path") ?
We distinguish them in products like the RDBMS (upgrade = the new version is installed on top of the previous version; migrate = both versions are installed and co-exist), but this is not the case for JDeveloper.

Regards,

Didier.
