Laptop Diaries X (about:bluetooth)

For those of you in a hurry to use the Belkin transceiver with a Nokia 6310i on an XP/SP2 enhanced laptop,
- get their FAQ for XP/SP2 users, its somewhere around here...
- install their software,
- manually follow the FAQ instructions, (involves deleting the Microsoft Bluetooth device driver by using the XP Control Panel, "System" applet and the Device Manager)
- Go to "Bluetooth Places" and this will discover your phone & create a modem for you.
- Use the Network Connections panel to create a dial up agent. This needs to be associated with an ISP i.e. a phone number, login/password etc.
This will give you a GSM modem connection to the internet.
