Save time and effort managing your 6.x DSEE on \*nix platforms from the command line. Use the "sourcing" capacity of your shell to quickly append the paths and environment variables you need to manage your DS's quickly from the command line.
Any production administrator for the 6.x DSEE shoould have a complete understanding of managing their DS's through the dsadm and dsconf command lines. There are a number of other helpful command line tools and utilities needed to manage the 6.x DSEE. This article provides a quick and easy way to set your path, man page paths and settings, as well as debugging flags in a script you can "source" on demand from a new shell.
