Open Source in Jujuy, Argentina
By Ezequiel Singer on sep 18, 2008
The event had a lot of great talks, tech demos and finally a nice install fest, where lot of people installed for the first time open source software in their machines
I have no words to explain how good the people of Jujuy made me feel, and I have to say thanks to everyone in the organization and all the people that were part of the event. I hope to be visiting you soon and continue working with all of you a bigger open source community in the Argentinian north west. This time more than 400 people listened to me talking about opensolaris and Java!!!
To my new friends of Jujuy and the Argentinian north west, I invite you to be part of the new OSUM clubs(open source universities meetup) that we are building with the community, so you can show to the world your projects and to start collaborating in your universities http://osum.sun.com
Universidad Nacional de Jujuy already has its own club: http://osum.sun.com/group/unjuosum and everyone is welcome to be part of it, to share ideas and projects, and to meet great people
