Barcodes barcodes barcodes ... which ones to pick?

No this is not going to be an article on how to add a barcode to your output ... I'll save that for later. We are finalizing our licensing for our new unicode fonts, that we make available to you. As part of the deal we also have the opportunity to get three barcode fonts from the vendor, we'll have a MICR font too.

So heres the question for you all ... which three would you as customers like? There are so many available but we'd like to get three that you'll actually find useful. If you have suggestions please post them in a comment.

Thanks, Tim

Jon Burkart:

UPC and ISBN would be a great start. Glad to hear the MICR font is going to be delivered standard.

3 of 9 extended would be my top pick.

Jeremy Tittle:

3 of 9 for sure, but there are others that are useful, just don't know the names off my head.

Tim,
just wanted to share with you and your readers that I could to generate a bar code image and the reference that in the rtf template . We use XMLP within Peoplesoft.

The main benefit is that we do not need to buy special fonts from vendors !

Code 128 & 3 of 9 extended will work .
