At the Public Services 2.0 workchop, Ken Ducatel of the European Commission's i2010 unit says the themes currently being discussed internally for possible elements towards the new IT strategy for Europe include:
1.Future networks and the future internet
2. Doing business online in the single market
3. ICT innovation and research
4. Better quality and life for all
5. Services of public interest
6. Creative content and the role of users
7. ICT for sustainable growth
8. Economic impact of IT
Not much content behind these bullets yet...but then public consultation will start about 15 May 2009.
