Today, we held a seminar for the i2010 unit in the European Commission's DG Information Society and Media in Brussels, Belgium on: “The Future of IT policy in a challenging economic climate”. After a short Introduction by Fred-Arne Ødegaard, National Expert, Lisbon Strategy and i2010 (Unit C1), Directorate General Information Society and Media European Commission,

Andy Smith, Senior Director, Public Sector EMEA, Oracle, spoke about "eGovernment in a recession - improving services whilst driving out costs". I then spoke about "IT Policy in Europe 2010-2013: The Imperative of Walking the Talk on Openness".
