Some of you may have noticed that the OCM (Oracle Configuration Manager) software, which is the collector mechanism used by SCM, had a bug in the latest AIX release, 10.2.7. (And thanks to those who have pointed it out.) We've fixed that bug and put out a new release of the 10.2.7 AIX distribution; the updated release is now available for download on both the SCM Collectors tab and the Metalink patch download interface.

So if my README.TXT file says Version: 10.2.7.0.0 and Date: October 31, 2007 - does that mean I need to get the new version? And if so do I need to uninstall and reinstall? Is there a bug number that I can reference for documentation?
Thank You,
JR Peck

JR -- the problems with the original version were with installation and instrumenting the database with PL/SQL (as described in the install guide). If you were able to deploy the collector successfully for whatever type of configuration you had, then you don't need to worry.

Well - I have installed it on a 5 node rac cluster. I did one node with 10.2.6 and there was a gap in time before I installed to the other 4 nodes.
On those 4 nodes, the install went fine without issues, but there was no state directory created. I did not run installCCRSQL.sh on those nodes because the docs say it is only to be run on a single node.
I have a service request open on the issue but was hoping this might offer some resolution.
As I said, the install appeared to go fine on the other 4 nodes but no state directory was created and the nodes don't show up in my configurations. I can run emCCR config and the connection tests fine. I can run collect manually and it says that everything is fine. But it isn't actually working correctly.
