After months of hard work, the Oracle team is extremely proud to announce that version 2 of Configuration Support Manager has just been released as a beta to the general public! This release incorporates innumerable bug fixes, feedback from customers and other users, and filling out a significant portion of the feature set we've planned for this new version of CSM.
If you haven't already seen the beta, just log into Oracle MetaLink and click on the Configuration Support Manager tab -- you'll see an advertisement on that page that will allow you to open up the new interface to give it a test drive. Take a look, try it out, read the FAQ and Getting Started guide, and let us know what you think!

It's fantastic; finally a Metalink we can be proud of :)
Please, please provide some kind of mobile access interface to this data!

I'm with Bob - provide some alternative to the Flash-based pages that will work with simpler, small-screen devices such as PDA's, or Linux devices like the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet (its Flash installation does not work for this site).

Is there some way to update the info for a config? When I bring up the overview for a config I have created from OCM upload, I see no way to modify the Description, Associated People/Projects. That would be a major benefit of this site. That option is available in the CSM v1 ("My Favorite Configurations" - click the config name, and a rather comprehensive update window appears).
TIA
Rory

Dave -- the answer is not yet, but PeopleSoft support is definitely in the roadmap.

SR text is truncated. I need to use the classic style to read it all. Until that is fixed, this new style is not usable.
