Filling out our certification matrix for Oracle VM, our Applications Platform Group has certified Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 on Oracle VM with 64-bit Oracle Enterprise Linux 4 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 on x86-64.
Prerequisites

Oracle Enterprise Linux 4.7 (64-bit) on x86-64
or
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.7 (64-bit) on x86-64 - Oracle VM 2.1.2 or higher
- Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 version 12.0.3 (RUP 3) and higher
Upcoming Certifications
The Applications Platform Group is currently working on certifying Oracle VM with 64-bit OEL/RHEL version 5. No release schedules are available, but you're welcome to monitor or subscribe to this blog for updates, which I'll post as soon as soon as possible.

Interesting news. I'm still a much bigger fan of VMWare then Xen (aka Oracle VM) even more so since even RedHat decided to move away from Xen to KVM.
It would be nice for Oracle to have more of a positive approach to VMWare but I guess I understand having to do what is best for your bottom line.
Regardless of the virtualizing technology, virtualizing E-Business suite makes *so* much sense. Good to see Oracle supporting it.
