Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11i (11.5.10.2) is now certified with Oracle Database Server 10gR2 version 10.2.0.4 on the following additional 64-bit operating system platforms:
- Linux x86-64 (Red Hat 4/5, Oracle Enterprise Linux 4/5, SLES 9/10)
- Microsoft Windows x64 (2003)
This is a split configuration (or database tier only) certification. The application tier must be on a fully certified E-Business Suite 11i Platform.
Note: The 10.2.0.4 Database Vault certifications for these two platforms are still underway. I don't have estimates for these pending certifications yet, but you're welcome to monitor or subscribe to this blog for updates, which I'll post as soon as soon as they're available.
Also note that I've posted a graphic of Tux simply because I can't resist the opportunity to stick a pear-shaped penguin on this blog. No offence intended to Microsoft fans...

Hi Steven,
We are using Oracle11i(11.5.10.2) with Database version 10.2.0.3 on windows 2000 server (win 32bit)
Due to Memory Limitation(ORA-04030) Now we want to migrate 64 bit platform,
If we select win 64 bit platform(split) .
is this platform stable?
is any other orgnization using this configuration?
Thanks
Umair

Hi, Umair,
I've just returned from a multiweek vacation and am working through my backlog.
Windows x64 (64-bit) is supported only for the database tier for EBS 11i. You will need to run your application tier on a different supported platform. This is technically viable, but I can't comment on the number of customers running in this configuration.
You should be aware that the 10.2.0.3 database is now desupported. You should make plans to upgrade to 10.2.0.4 at your earliest convenience.
Best of luck with your implementation/upgrade.
Regards,
Steven
