Another airport stopover, another eagerly-awaited certification announcement. Nice to do something productive while I'm sitting here waiting for my flight to be called. I'm pleased to announce that Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.2.3 is now certified with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12. Just to ensure that there's no confusion about what's being certified here, the full name of this patchset is:

I am not sure if this is the correct forum or not.
My question is related to installation of OBIEE along with R12.
We have R12 installed on a linux box, this is a development instance just want to understand if OBIEE Server can use the iAS installed for R12 or do we need to have a seperate installation of iAS specific for OBIEE.

Sunil,
Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12's existing ORACLE_HOMEs cannot be shared for use by other products such as OBIEE. You need to install OBIEE on a separate Oracle Application Server 10g instance.
You can follow the generic OBIEE documentation for instructions on installing and configuring that product.

Steven
