Hi, Mike,Just a quick update to let you know that we're not ignoring you. Your question has actually prompted a deeper discussion with the Server Technologies team on their strategic plans for this platform. They're working through the details of what can be shared publicly right now. Stay tuned for an update soon (I hope).Regards,Steven

Since our RDBMS counterparts have not set the date for the 11gR1 release on Linux Itanium, the corresponding EBS certification is not planned or scheduled.
You can direct further database platform support inquiries to RDBMS support.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi Steven,
I was reading Mike's comment about v11 and it is similar to my query. When will Oracle 10.2.0.4 be released for Linux Itanium? Is support for Linux Itanium going away?
Thanks, Kelsey

Hi Kelsey,
The EBS Platforms team is planning a certification of EBS 11i with Linux Itanium on 10.2.0.4 and will be able to proceed after the patchset on the platform is released.
Please refer to Certify's entry for the Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition for details on the availbility of database releases and patchsets on this platform.
thanks,
John

Hi, Alfred,
Our Server Technologies team has confirmed that 11g on Linux Itanium is planned with the upcoming 11gR2 Database release. There are no plans for Linux Itanium for the 11gR1 Database.
Regards,
Steven
