Hi Steven, I have the follow scenario:
11.0.3 + 8.1.7 in AIX 4.3.3
I would like to 11.5.10.2 and in the future to R12 in Linux.

The best way to do this is: 11.0.3 to 11.5.10.2 in AIX after this migrate to Linux using DocID: 238276.1 ? Or is there another way to do this upgrade?

Hi, Tiago,

Upgrading on your existing platform first is the safest method. Once you're running Apps 11i on AIX, then it's fairly simple to switch over to Linux following Note 238276.1.

We are with some Products in 11.5.10, others in 11.5.9 and others in 11.5.7 and 11.5.8 release.

I would like to upgarde to r12.
What do I need to do?
I need bring up all products to 11.5.10.2 with patch 3480000 and after this upgrade to r12?
Or Can I upgrade this situation directly to r12?

Hi, Tiago,

I'm unclear on what you mean by this. If you have multiple E-Business Suite environments, each on different E-Business Suite versions (11.5.7, 11.5.8, 11.5.9), then each of those separate environments must be upgraded to 11.5.10.2 before upgrading to R12.

If you have different products within a single E-Business Suite environment, then they are all considered to be at whatever maintenance pack level that you've applied to the entire environment, regardless of the individual product family updates applied.
