10.2.0.3 Database Certified on Windows Server 2003 for Apps 11i

[Sep 4, 2007 Update:  Revised the navigation path to the authoritative information in Certify]

Our ever-industrious E-Business Suite Platform Engineering team has released another database-tier only certification:  E-Business Suite Release 11i (11.5.9.CU2 and 11.5.10.2) is now certified with Oracle Database Server 10gR2 version 10.2.0.3 on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x64 (AMD64/EM64T).

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x64 Logo:

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x64 (AMD64/EM64T) is supported only on the database tier, in what is sometimes called a "split configuration" for Release 11i environments.  The application tier must be on a supported platform.

To deploy this configuration on a Microsoft Windows
Server 2003 x64 (AMD64/EM64T) database server, see:
Note:  The Rapid Clone tool is not available for the Microsoft Windows Server
2003 x64 (AMD64/EM64T) database tier. For more information, refer to:

For the definitive list of all certified platforms, you can refer to to Oracle's Certify database:  E-Business
Suite Split Configuration Database Tier platform
Certified Combinations.
From the Certify main page select: View Certifications by Product ->
E-Business Suite -> E-Business Suite 11i or Earlier ->

Thanks for catching that, Darrell.  The links have just been corrected.  The updated version of Note 401561.1 should appear on Metalink within a couple of hours.Regards,Steven

Thanks for including the discussion on Java release terminology; its nice to see that in print somewhere. I also wanted to let you know that the links listed in note 401561.1 to download Java don't work. I can't chase the real one down now but wanted to give you a 'heads up' that those links (at least the Linux one) bring up an error on the Sun site.
